Only an eccentric millionaire would stand at the roadside handing out wads of cash, but many of us do that unthinkingly with our lives.
Money is an infinite resource. It will never run out, but your time certainly will.
We are somehow able to calibrate what constitutes a waste of money, yet spend precious little thought on what might be wasting our time.
Next time someone asks you for a chat, respond as if they’d asked you to gift them £1000 with no chance of getting it back.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t, just that you should know what you’re giving away.
